He’s smart. He’s lovable. He’s Dexter Morgan, America’s favorite serial killer who solves crimes by day and commits crimes by night. In season 8, Angel Batista was not always played by David Zayas. His son, David Zayas Jr., stands in for his father in some shots, as the two look remarkably similar. Throughout the first season, Dexter is seen with a large scar on his left side. Later, in season two, the scar migrated to his right side, leaving his left side intact. Dexter Morgan: I lived in darkness for a long time.
