In the 1950s, new BPRD agent Bobbie Jo Song is tasked with delivering a spider to the BPRD, but must enlist the help of Hellboy when things go wrong. Together, they travel to Appalachia to confront the corrupt man who was sent back to Earth to collect souls for the devil.
