The film is set in the desert on the border of Colombia and Venezuela, where petrol smugglers, known as “pimpineros”, risk their lives transporting illegal fuel from one country to another. The film is about Juan (Alejandro Speitzer), the youngest of a clan of three brothers who are involved in this dangerous business because he is forced to work for a sinister rival. Juan’s girlfriend Diana (Laura Osma) is determined to uncover the terrible secrets surrounding this no man’s land and sets out to find the truth.
