Superboys of Malegaon is a film based on the life of amateur filmmaker Nasir Shaikh from the town of Malegaon. The residents of the town seek a much-needed escape from the daily grind in Bollywood cinema. Nasir is inspired to make a film for the people of Malegaon by the residents of Malegaon. He assembles a ragtag group of friends to realize his vision, bringing new life to the town. The film is a touching yet uplifting take on both filmmaking and friendship – and what happens when these two worlds collide.
