Narrative
After the events of Batman (2022), Oz Cobb, aka The Penguin, attempts to take over the reins of the underworld in Gotham. With the exception of the bat signal in the last season finale, we never got a Robert Pattinson cameo in The Penguin. Colin Farrell fought hard for his version of The Smoking Penguin in Batman (2022), but to no avail.

However, his own series portrays the character as a casual tobacco user with a penchant for cigars. The umbrella falls and the logo changes to the Warner Bros. logo on The Graham Norton Show: Lady Gaga / Demi Moore / Colin Farrell / Richard Ayoade / Jack Savoretti (2024).

I wouldn’t have thought that this would apply to this role, but Colin Farrell just gave the best performance of his career with the incredible role of the penguin. It will go down in history because Heath Ledger’s Joker replaced the character. If he doesn’t get the Golden Globes, the SAG Awards, and everything else, no one will be able to appreciate how the producers, writers, and incredible makeup team helped Colin Turin deliver this incredible performance that will mark his career.
